Our Programs

The programs of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) are firmly rooted in a legacy of advocacy, empowerment, and service. At the heart of everything we do are the “NCNW Priorities,” which reflect the pressing concerns and aspirations of the communities we serve. These priorities are built upon the foundation of our Core Four focus areas: education, health care, economic justice, and social justice.

Each program we develop and implement is intentionally designed to address these priorities by providing direct, impactful services that meet the real-world needs of individuals and families. Whether we are working to bridge the digital divide in underserved schools, advocating for equitable health access, expanding pathways to financial literacy and empowerment, or advancing social policies that promote justice and equity, NCNW’s programs are crafted to uplift, support, and create lasting change.

Our commitment is not only to respond to immediate challenges, but to also lay the groundwork for long-term progress and sustainability. Through innovative initiatives, community partnerships, and the tireless dedication of our members and leaders across the country, NCNW continues to be a beacon of hope and action for Black women, their families, and communities nationwide.
